We’re called Trinity Amps because the company was founded by a team of three spanning three generations. It began in the third month of the third year of the new millennium.

The company’s roots go back to the early 1970s, beginning with the design and construction of basic speakers and amplifiers, and later expanding into scratch-built spectrum analyzers, high-power MosFET amplifiers, preamps, and active filters. In 2003, inspired by a guitar-playing teenager and supported by a vacuum tube savvy father-in-law, the first vacuum tube amplifier was built.

After serving more than 2,500 customers in 44 countries over 19 years, ownership and control of the company was transferred to Craig Williams in October 2022.
