The Trinity FX Loop is pretty straightforward to add. The builder’s manual actually has the wiring layout you need — the SEND/RETURN sit between the last preamp stage and the PI, and the board only needs B+, heaters, and ground connected. If you follow the manual’s pad labels, you won’t run into surprises.
If someone has a photo of theirs installed in an 18-watt layout, that would definitely help, but the manual diagram should get you there safely.
