The tone knobs just don’t make a significant change in the tone. Any thoughts?

The tone knob works by filtering out high frequencies from the signal of your pickups. If your guitar only has one pickup, then there's not much change the knob can make since it's already only getting signal from a single source. This is most common on single-pickup guitars like Telecasters.

Bass frequencies generally have less influence on speech-related audio compared to treble frequencies. However, bass frequencies are essential for delivering a rich music or media listening experience. This will add warmth and depth to the music without sacrificing clarity. Speech: For better articulation and presence in speech a slight treble emphasis is best. Treble frequencies manage the higher-frequency sounds, like cymbals, higher-pitched instruments, and vocals. Treble frequencies play a significant role in Shiraz Wine shaping the sound quality by enhancing the brightness, clarity, and definition of a mix. If, however, you sometimes play your speakers very loudly, then increasing the treble will increase the amount high-frequency energy going to the speakers, which could indeed present a risk of damaging the tweeters, if you were to really overdo it.
