Congratulations on reaching this day. :)

Its been pretty cool to watch the Triwatt develop over the months. It's one hell of an amp.

Hope the show is amazing!

Awesome! Congrats guys. I can only imagine how much work went into this baby!

And Phil, it might have taken a while, but I'm betting it'll be worth it the first time we all plug into the thing... :)

From an engineering standpoint, six months from start to production is FAST :D :D

The team should be really proud of the job they've done on this one, looking forward to getting my kit :P :P

Besides, if you're doing a concept to design this fast, we're going to start expecting a new Trinity design EVERY YEAR  :D  :D

Don't worry, I've already been bugging Stephen for a couple of months about the next amp on my wishlist... ;)

Twenty of us arrived at the Hollywood in Toronto for an evening of Sibannac Rock 'n Roll. lbethune, ajcoholic, J-Rock, Zaphod, bionic, coco and friends/family plus a full house inside and people waiting outside, rocked into the wee hours.

Larry (lbethune) played the TRIWATT all night long using a Gretsch 6120DC, Historic Les Paul Custom, Tele [more about that later] and a Tokai SG -open E for slide work and the pedal board. His playing was amazing [Evil Ways] - a pleasure to listen. Set list & pedal details in previous posting.

As an added bonus, ajcoholic brought down his handmade Tele. It was a beautiful instrument and Larry played it almost exclusively in set 2 and 3! The picture gives you an idea what this amazing instrument looked like.
Congrats to you sir!!

Sibannac were unbelievably tight. Larry's playing was awesome right through. He played a jaw-dropping solo on his Les Paul Custom "Black Beauty" in Santanna's "Evil Ways" - eat your heart out Carlos! :D And he also played half the set with ajcohilic's Tele, that he'd never even seen before. I also couldn't believe the loud cleans he was getting from the TRIWATT, for the Rockabilly and Beatles type numbers, even with a 12AX7 in the V4 socket and 6V6 power tubes. The MV was slightly below half way, at around 11 o'clock, and the Overdrive was set half way. The Bright channel was the only one he used, with the Volume about 1/3d of the way up IIRC, and the tone controls all set fairly neutrally. I'm generally not much of a fan of pedals, but Larry's Boss DS-1 with Keely-ish mods sounded velvet smooth in tracks like Crazy on You and Evil Ways. Steve's son's girlfriend who did guest vocals on some of the songs is an amazing singer too. She has a powerful voice, as well as the rock singer moves. It was all a lot of fun, and basically the whole evening totally sucked.

And I've already got plans for how we do that one, which I've talked to Stephen about. :D I guess you mean "the amp formally known as Tweedle", which is already part done, and then there's a 100W/200W version of the B-15N I want to do for my bass-playing fraternity.... But right now, we're busy getting Triwatts out for all the orders. :D

Thanks Larry's wife for that awesome pic! Now maybe you want to order a custom guitar for your husband??? ;)

The Triwatt kit #1 is sitting now in Kirkland Lake... hopefully this friday or saturday I will start some soldering.

Gigging two nights in 2 1/2 weeks, and I want to be playing this new amp by then.

How deep in the lake? Does this help give the amp a more liquid tone when it's built?

Sorry to say, there is no more Kirkland Lake. Sometime during the 50's or 60's the lake was filled with mine tailings (waste crushed rock).

But I can sit it in the bath for a while if you want :)
