Update:

Our current plan is to have the kits ready in the next 4, maybe 6 weeks. We are trying to get as close to the tone of the DR103 we have and as much player feedback as we can afford and we're practically there.

The design, layout, chassis, panel is pretty well nailed and there are a few final decisions to make e.g. the final OT. Our OT prototypes were made by Heyboer to the same winding spec as a torn down Partridge 50W. One is the same winding, the other is a little simpler [less expensive to make; Brent is trying this one out. The PT is a Partridge clone as well, but we want to up the voltage to the max for 6V6 so we're getting another prototype made.

So we are currently waiting for a new PT to try at the higher voltages.

Suppliers are picked so we are pretty prepared for launch and we have a growing list of pre-orders.

Great news :D :D

Especially since 4-6 weeks is when us down here start getting our tax returns back, nothing like spending the $ on a new amp kit :P :P

Timing is PERFECT!!

Cab is 23" X 8"h X 8.5"d. It needs an 18" cutout; our 18 watt is 16.5" cutout but the amp would fit the 22" cab.

To explain a little further, the Triwatt chassis has the same dimensions as many other Trinity amps, such as the TC-15, etc. So it's pretty compact for a Hiwatt. However, it has a wider front panel due to all the extra controls on the front. You also need about 7" height for 6V6s or 8" for KT66s.

If anyone was wondering, we decided to wait for the new PT before I do the clip sessions... hopefully in the next week or so... :)

Parts are arriving daily. Final markups made to the chassis. First batch will be ordered Monday and will take about 4 weeks at which time we hope to start shipping. Panels are on their way.

Target Launch is March 21st, just in time for ajcoholic to personally pick up.

Cool! I get to take a truckload of trinity stuff home from my trip south :)

Knowing how I operate, the Triwatt should be up and running a few days after I get home ;)

Look forward to it! And maybe a dinner out in the city with you and the wives??

Anyone who wants to reserve a kit or amp just shoot me an email with your intentions. The more orders we start with, the lower the cost.
Don't know the exact price yet, but it will be more than a TC-15 kit and less than a HIWATT!

Les works Thursday all day, but I plan to leave KL by 7 am Friday morning. That gets us into Toronto by 2pm.... so we should be able to swing dinner and some live music! And he better be using a Trinity amp ;)
