I'm loving my recently completed Tweed Deluxe, but it can get quite loud at times as is to be expected. I'm considering adding the VRM to this build but am wondering if the VRM is completely bypassed when the knob is turned all the way up? Besides lowering the volume of the amp, does it affect the tone of the amp at all? Thanks for all the help, guidance, and assistance.

This is my opinion I have one in both an 18watt and a tweed

I Don't really think it changes the tone but to me it effects the distortion /gain . turning it down a little ( in the middle) makes things a little more "brown" which to me is a good thing. while turning it down all the way the amp looses a little gain distortion
