Wondering if I have an extra eyelet on my board. The layout doesn’t show the eyelet by my finger in the picture below. Can I just skip it, or am I supposed to do something with it?

Thanks

Looks like a 390R resistor, a small capacitor, and and green jumper go to it, if I'm looking at the right spot where you're pointing on the board. Might look at the layout again. Some times a break will let you see things that you might have missed.

PS Looking again, you might also have the green jumper in the wrong eyelet.

Also, check the value of the resistor where connects to last orange drop cap at the top. Make sure it's a 24K ohm and it should run down to where the (2) 1M ohm and the 820 cap connect.

Definitely helpful. I put it away for the night, I’ll take a look at it tomorrow and see if I can figure it out. Thanks for all the insights!

You're welcome. Lotsa of stuff going on in that area. You picked a pretty complicated build, I'm not trying the OSD or the TripTop until I get a few more builds done. Right now, the Tramp is frustrating me!

Ok, here are a couple more pics. The eyelet in question is shown on the jumper layout in the builder’s guide, but it isn’t on the layout. It looks like it would be directly under the .022 cap.

It lols like it’s connecte to the .022 cap in this picture from the sod amp page on trinity website. Maybe I just jumper it across to the eyelet at the top of the board?

download/file.php?id=2203&mode=view This build by a guy in Bangkok has a good view of a stuffed board. Looks like he had enough lead on the .022 cap to just pass over the eyelet in the center. You might want to look at his post. I think stuffing the board will get easier as things progress. If you get really get stuck you can PM Stephen (Coco) using the User Control Panel (upper right hand corner of forum page). Again, I haven't built the OSD and am offering what little insight I have.

Check page 61. There may be under board leads connecting to the center eyelet? But I don't see one on the layout. Also, don't think holes to run leads would have eyelets in them.

It's extra. You can solder to it and jump to the outside lead or solder to the outside lead and ignore it like in the layout.

Build is going pretty good, thanks. I messed up checking voltages and fried my rely board, so I’m back to waiting on U S Customs.

Hoping to crank it out quickly once I get the new board from Stephen!

May have to order a OT for my Tramp! If I fried it, I'll be waiting on Customs, too!
