What is the HV current load for that tube?

Plate current range is 135-160 ma. I assume I would use the 2.5k. Ot tap. And the proper cathode resistor.
The data sheet says 250ma at 650 volts, class a at 400volts single tube is the 135-160ma listing. Also what value would I use for cathode resistor?
It says plate dissipation at 400 volts is 20 watts, would ot handle this?

I dont know how well this will work. I expect the HV will drop due to the high current flow. You can try it and see with the HI bias and 2.5K but watch the PT for heat.

Success, ended up putting a Tung sol 6550 in my tramp. Talk about sound and tone. Plenty to play out with.
P.s. using. 12" spkr.

Cool, what were your measured voltages?

Plate is 368v is that ok??? Should I change screen resistor??? I put a 10w 200ohm cathode resistor in, is this ok?? Should I change r14 or r16?
