I am doing a little pre-planning for a Plexi 18 build. I notice that the boost switch is on the back of the chassis, which seems like an inconvenient location for a potentially useful feature. Especially if configured as a combo. I am wondering if there is a good option for moving it to the front panel? First, does the switch only impact the Plexi channel (Ch 2 TMB)? That's way I'm see it in the layout.

Would it make sense to swap positions of the Standby & Boost switches? I'm thinking either that or replace one of the input jacks with the switch. What is the functional difference between the Low and High inputs? I assume drilling a new hole in the front panel is not a very good idea.

Thanks for any input.

Yes boosts only the TMB channel. You could switch it on the front using a special volume pot with pull switch.

I emailed Steve and he also recommended a DPDT volume pot switch. I just ordered my kit and he is going to sub out that part for me. Seems like a really good option.
