As a start, here's some general steps. Maybe you want to add some tips for a particular section.

Build Turret / Eyelet Board
Install the Hardware including power transformer, output transformer and the choke
Install the turret or eyelet board
Wire the tube heaters - don’t switch the heater wire polarity.
Wire up the main power supply. Starting at the IEC connector
Wire the Rectifier
Connect the Board - make the connections from the turret board to the tubes.
Connect the Board - make the connections from the turret board to the potentiometers.
Wire up the input jacks - Use shielded wire
Wire up the Output Transformer to the Output Jacks.
Double-check the wiring and the components.Trace or highlight the connections on a copy of the layout.
Follow Power Up Sequence testing voltages as you proceed.

Interesting...I don't know if what you posted was ordered or not...

but usually the last thing I wire up is the board...before the board is even mounted, I've got the tube socket filaments done, mains done, recto done, transformers mounted and wired up as well...

the board is the last thing to go in before I start testing...

eye dunno, maybe thats the wrong way to go about it.....

I normally do all the underboard wiring and secure it before installing the board, that is because I often have the OT wires to output socket running under the board especially on a narrow chassis. I also like to stick any shielded cable running from the volume control to tube socket to the chassis so it doesn't move around. I also wire up rectifiers, cap cans, B+ to OT and power to output tube sockets before installing the board come to think of it.

I do mine like this.

Build the turret board first. solder all components.
Ground Buss bar, interconnecting wire, and the flying leads.

Place all the parts in the chassis if my chassis is pre punched.
including trannies sockets iec connector output jacks, except for the input jacks. I wire them out of the chassis, place the resistors on them and interconnecting wires before mounting them on the chassis.

Then I solder all the heater wires first.
Solder the flying leads off the board.
Solder the input wires after all that is done.

Then I start the power section, starting with the PT. Heater wire usually first, then the secondary and finish the rect except for pin 3.

Then comes the PT primary. Finish the power switch including bleed resistor, then standby switch, lite, fuse etc....

Then the capcan and get it connect to rect via standby switch, and on to the board. Last I do the OT, impedance switch and output jacks/speaker jacks.


After all that is done, I reverse my input leads because I wired them backwards.... (newest addition).
