Hello there! Regarding coax cable used for input jacks and input grid.. What type you guys used in your 18w builds? Did you ground the shield from one side?
Is the rg58 any good for this purpose?
Thanks!

That rg58 is for tv's. I would not use it for an amplifier. This is what came with my Tramp kit from Trinity - Belden 8216 rg-174/u - very high quality and a pleasure to work with. Im not sure where you can buy it by the foot. Hoffman sells an RG-174 by the foot but im not sure if its Belden. . and yes only ground one side . Joe

I purchased some cable by the foot at this site:
https://www.pacrad.com/belden-8216-rg-1 ... 6-awg.html

It is perfect for use in amps, and easy to strip.

Do you need more than what we sent or is it missing? RG-174/U is the right stuff.
