The 18 sIII or TMB has two channels and you can jumper them. Doing this feeds the input signal into both channels and sums at them the Phase Inverter for additional gain and tone at the output.

You can really control the volume of each channel and mix them together with tone controls from both channels to help blend it in even better. This gives a very nice complex tone and some gain boost.

To do this, you can use a Y-cord, A-B Y cord or standard jumper cable and plug it into the high input of one channel and the low input of the other. Plug the guitar into either of the remaining inputs - high or low as necessary.

An A-B Y switch turns the sIII into a 2 channel amp that can be set up with a classic crunch tone for rhythm and little fill lines and divine lead tone.
