OK, so I now have an sIII 18 Watt TMB which is more or less where I had set out for some time ago but got waylaid with another design. I have a wealth of tones at my disposal and I have heard that these can be augmented by jumpering. Now I am presuming that a jumper would be a short piece of shielded cable with two jacks with the ground only attached at one end? What inputs does convention tell us to jumper? My guess is I stick my guitar into the Hi of the normal channel and then jumper the normal lo to the TMB Hi?

Just a regular guitar cable. Go from/to either the Hi or Lo because all you're doing is parelleling the two channel inputs. Enjoy !

When designing my faceplates for my sIII...

I *almost* went with two inputs, hi and low....both going to v1 and internally jumpered between pins 2 and 7. And depending on whether I wanted one channel or the other, or a mix of the two....would dictate where I set the volume knobs on each channel...i.e. if I only wanted to play the normal channel, the volume on the tmb channel would be all the way down, etc...

I decided to stick with the 4 main inputs...but it definitely ocupied my thoughts for a few days...

I was considering putting a jumper switch on the back of the amp however decided against it as it was just another join that could introduce unwanted noise.
