just wondered who installed what there...the Plexi has 220uF...but to 'tighten' the bass, you can reduce down to 50uF...

just wondering who has, and what they thought...i'm working on mine right now...and wondering where I should go...

i mostly play HB guitars...

For C16 (normal channel) it depends on what gain level you play. If you play low gain (clean) blues or jazz you may want the higher value for rich bass tones. If you play more high gain (dirty) blues, rock or fusion you may want the lower value to have tighter bass and not have it too "flubby". And if you want to cascade your channels like I did for even higher gain (80s metal), you may want to go even lower. I went with 3.3uf.

C10 is more subtle and you can actually go with a lower value like 50uf or go with a really high value like 1000uF or above to tighten the bass and stiffen the feel of the amp. I did not try the really high value but I believe others have.

220 on the normal channel is a very ballsy channel and same as a plexi lead. You can play with that a lot - even down to .68 uf. With HB you might find it too full so drop it to 25 or 50.
On the power section, the same applies, but to notice much, you really have to reduce in factors of 10. So from 220 go to 25 or 50.

These are very easy to change after the build and always recommend you tweak AFTER you build stock.

FYI in the power section, using a 1000uF to 2200uF cathode cap makes the amp stiffer, and with tighter bass, making it feel a bit more like a bigger Marshall.

Might try that on the new plexi ...
