Can an isolated jack be used with a footswitch for the boost on an 18 watt V6? I measured 1.6v on the toggle, putting in a jack and 1/4" cable to the footswitch would allow that voltage 1.6v to run down the cable and back, this OK?

Also with the 6V6 and el84 toggle switch, can a footswitch be used here? And if so what kind of set-up would one need to do this?

Don't know about the isolated jack, but info on using a remote switch for the boost and tube switch is here.

I think it's been done in Northern Ontario! but the mod jcny pointed out really does the trick.
