Great news! Over the past little while I have had to have many eye treatments to fix most of the damage from my accident. Besides losing a bit of my ability to see most colors the doctors have said I will make a full recovery and will be able to live a normal life and will still be able to enjoy some of the simple pleasures of life like being able to drive a car for instance. I will post some pictures tonight, just letting my camera charge up. I am so glad that the damage isn't as bad as it could have been.
Here is a quick story of what happened for those who are a bit curious. I was working on a job site working on a Geo-Thermal heating unit when a very unobservant electrician decided to turn on the major electrical breaker to the unit I was working on (it was tagged out if you can believe that!). It was a 50 amp breaker if I remember correctly. Anyways, this caused a huge arc which exploded right in my face as it hadn't been wired to the unit yet. To make matters worse the shock of the arc flashing caused me to fall over a can of methanol as I was just in the middle of filling one of the ground loops. We are talking pure methanol here, some harsh stuff if you aren't careful. I had all the appropriate safety gear, face shield, goggles, apron, gloves, First Aid kit, you name it I had it all but some how the methanol managed to make it right into my eyes which as one could imagine stung a little...How that happened was and still beyond me, Murphy's Law I suppose. Needless to say flushing my eyes out with my first aid eye wash bottle wasn't enough and the methanol caused some damage to both of my eyes which both got infected which caused a majority of the damage after the initial incident. Eye infections of this sort is rare but it can happen. I dodged a few bullets that day. As for the electrician, he had his license pulled and he was fired almost immediately, among other things. Crazy stuff. Everything is looking up now, and I can still play my guitar as poorly as usual

Now to finish this amp!
I will get those pictures up right away!
Cheers,
Kim
