Wasn't sure where to put this:

I'm in the market for a descent, but affordable, oscilloscope for a hobbyist building tube amps. Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.

I've seen many on e-bay, but without some knowledge of what I'm looking for, I'm not sure what's a good deal or not and what features I may need.

You can find some good Textronix out there for less than $200. Even the 10 year old ones are better than the new Chinese imitations. You don't need a lot of fancy features.
