Like to share som picture of my new Triton build. Maybe It will inspire som body else to take the first step, entering the amp builders family.
It Sounds amacing, yust like everybody have told. Assebelying the kit was not to hard, but I spend more time reading the building instructions, and the layout before I start, than putting it together. I think that was a good Investment of time. Thanks to Stephen and the other guys at Trinity Amp for the good job with the documentation.

Looks nice. How is the tone, so far? Have you had a chance to to try the 6V6 option?

Hi! I chose the 6L6 version and therefore I don`t have the 6V6 tube, so unfortunately I have not tested it yet.
The tone? I think it's brilliant. Will try to describe it. I´d planned to put in a Celestion or Jensen speaker, but the Ibanez element I already had sounds good, so I chose to keep it. Maybe I'll replace it later. I've never played a Champ or similar small tube amps before, so it's hard to compare. My other amplifiers have been 50W Mesa mark2 and Peavey classic 50 2x12, so it´s not comparable. I think the little Triton amplifier sounds incredibly nice. Have tested it on my Strat, Tellys and Les Paul. The single coil sounds very clear an responsive. I tested the amp on a full band rehearsel. Maybe it got a bit bassy on the Les Paul when it cranked up. especially with the neck and middle pickup. But I love it. I've even tested my bass on it with an extra 1X12 cabinet. It sounded good too. When you bypass the tone control, it gets a little boost in the bass area. So overall I love this little rascal for home use and small gigs. Maybe I'll build one that's a bit more powerful next time for band use.

Maybe someone other Triton builder wants to share their experiences with their amps?

Tlon!
