First off, the support you get from Stephen is second to none. I wish my wife would allow me to build all of these kits.

1. On the layout and on page 33 show different heater wiring layouts. I have tried both ways and they both work great in relation to the how the hum pot works.

2. On page 61 it shows all three input jacks wired to the buss bar. Do this. On the layout it shows them linked with just one input connected. The cascade and link channel did not work until I grounded each one individually.

3. Get some aluminum HVAC tape from Lowes or Home Depot. I probably used more than was needed but I have ZERO hiss or hum on any knob setting except for 5 o'clock on all three of the channel knobs.

4. If you have an active bass, or just want a really different voiced channel, do the 220k resistor change that replaces the 470k resistors in the normal channel. I can get just the right amount of hair on my tone but still being able to "cut" through the mix.

5. I did the Floating Phase inverter Rx on page 72. I did not hear one bit of tone difference after doing this.
