A couple photos of my new OSD build. I have yet to install the Tube FX loop... I thought it would be smart to fire it up and make sure everything worked first. Having done that, I'm still holding off while I get to know it better. It's a real beast!

That wiring looks fantastic. I wish mine was as neat and as well organized as yours.

Be sure to post pics when you decide to add the Tube FX loop.

Tell us more about the speaker and cab. From the photo the cab seems a little deeper than most and I can't tell if it is front ported.

Thank you George.

The speaker cabinet is the Trinity Amps Sidewinder. It has ports on each side. The speaker is a WGS12L. Great sounding speaker/cabinet combination. I'm very pleased with it!

I will post another photo once I get the Tube FX Loop installed and running.

I discovered a slight problem with my OSD... I'm pretty sure I cooked the Jazz/Rock mini toggle switch when I soldered it up. While playing the amp, the tone stack would intermittently drop out as if the PAB was on. It took a while to figure out what was going on, but I finally discovered I can make the problem come and go by fiddling with the toggle.

I ordered a few new mini toggles from my go-to parts supplier, and I should have it replaced in a few days. Once it's fixed, I'll install the Tube FX Loop.

Update: Turned out there was nothing wrong with the Jazz/Rock mini toggle switch. The problem turned out to be that the lead from bass pot which is soldered to the top terminal on the switch was so long that it was touching the terminal below... I simply had overlooked trimming away the extra wire after making the connection.

I'm so glad I didn't have to change out the switch and re-do the wiring in that very tiny, very cramped space! :)

I going to continue to play the amp for a few days before installing the Tube FX Loop... update to follow.

EDIT: Well crap... the switch is bad after all. At least the new switch is here. I'll get it installed tomorrow.

Haha... I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight worrying about installing the new switch, so I dove in and did it. Wasn't so hard after all. Finally, everything works like it should.
