What a fun project. Second trinity amp build.
It worked without messing with it. Measure twice, cut once.
I kinda went rogue with the footswitch but I just felt it out. I never did well with switches on schematics..
One burning question????? The OD seems a little high toned, "ice picky" if you will. I've tried it with several guitars.
Either I need to do more exploration with the knobs or change a cap maybe.

I'm using Warehouse ET-65 and a Veteran 30

Anybody have a similar experience???

Cheers

Also I'm having an "unusual" cab built for it.

Congrats! It's a great amp!

I would not describe mine as "ice-picky" at all, even with a V30 and especially not with an ET65.

Maybe you should look at your tone-stack wiring again... it is a little tricky on this amp! Lots of stuff to get on that small switch footprint!

Success!!!! I had indeed swapped a .01 and a .001 capacitor. Now it has depth and makes beautiful tones. I am currently falling in love with all my guitars again. As soon as I learn to play guitar I will post a link to my insta @thebraindad

Meanwhile I'll be ignoring everything for a while :D

OK more thoughts and experiments:
I Changed out the 6V6 for 6L6 and re biased. More volume and a bit "girthier" response. The distortion running the gain against the master is sweet and natural.
I am currently trying an EH12AY7 in the V1 spot. It seems to have "softer edges". I don't know if that's because of the reduced gain or the difference in construction. It gives me more range with the "trim" pot. Meaning that now I've got it centered rather than off to one end. Also the distortion "level" has a bit more range before it maxes out.

I currently have a T-Rex creamer reverb in the effects loop and I'll probably upgrade that after I do more research.
Still haven't discovered why the bass gets "farty" when use my full pedal board but I'll get it eventually.

Humbuckers have a lot meatier output and the Strat sounds AMAZEBALLS
