What is 'EL backlit'? Cool either way. Could yo do a whole panel?

EL=Electroluminescent foil, like they use to backlight LCD panels. It glows a nice blueish/indigo color. They require a high voltage source, maybe around 90-100V adjustable.

Sure... Once you have your plexi panels laid out, EL backlighting or edge-lighting them could be a possibility. I was thinking of just doing an LED edgelit Trinity nameplate for an experiment.
