Anyone ever built a headphone amp for playing guitar?
only ones i have ever seen are solid state... and well... we all know how much fun solid state can be...
My roomates can hear me walking around at night there is no hgope for me to play at odd hours (sometimes they sleep till noon - giving me like a 4 hour window to play... if they arent doing homework.)
So anyways - i have a line6 piece of crap for recording on my pc that is great for clean recording but it's amp models just plain dont sound good... well, i guess they are the best solid state sounds i have ever heard, but they suck compared to anything tube i have heard.
anyone seen something like what im talking about?
