I bought a dpst carling switch, off, standby,on. It has 4 lugs. I want to be certain I wire it right. Point from diodes one lug, other side to b+,
So heater to center lugs and diode to last lugs?

What are you doing? Removing the Power control and installing a progressive switch?

Hmmm, I reckon the best option for "Standby" is to leave the amp stock and just turn the Power Level control to the "Idle" position which for me is my "Standby" position for when changing guitars or taking a break.

That was the intention. Incorporating all that functionality in the one control.
The progressive switch is not straightforward to install but we do use it on the Triwatt so our documentation for that will show how to do it.
