After I got this done, I came across a post indicating that it is not done this way anymore - the 5k and 2.5k now selected using a toggle switch. Guess I did it the "old" way.

Can anyone see if I did it right? Here is the wiring:

And with the knob on the back of the switch, here are the positions that I come out with:

I've seen a couple other posts where the knob on the back points toward the power tube, with the 8ohm position being directly at 9:00 (pointing toward the output jacks....). On mine - per the picture above the 8ohm 5k position is directly at 12:00.

Thanks!

Hard to see but looking at your other post, I think your concept is correct.
The switch is set for 6 positions, not 3.
in the first three positions, you switch in the 5K windings and the for the last three, you use. the 2.5K primary.
You double up on the secondaries so they compliment the primary poles on the. switch.

While it is an option with out switch to do this, and. it is elegant, we often do this with just a simple 2 pole toggle switch!

Thanks guys! I was fairly confident that the wiring part was done right - I followed Kurlives' posting exactly. Was concerned that the switch may have been set up incorrectly - and that I had the impedance positions marked incorrectly on the chassis.

Switch is set to 6 positions.

Will carry on - will soon start to tackle the board.....
