Hi folks,

I'm getting the itch to build another Tramp (sold mine to my cousin if you remember).

Has anyone toyed with the idea of adding a second pre-amp tube for additional cascaded gain stages? I'm looking for ideas on how to implement something like that as a switchable option.

Your thoughts?

If you set it up as a cathode follower and eliminated the tone stack loss, it would gain the amp up and crunch it out!
