And a beauty, at that (though, she is a Tramp).

Couldn't figure out how to measure B+ per the manual, so I maxed the VRM and the voltages looked reasonable, there was no smoke, weird noises or crackles, so I plugged in my guitar, and walla, she's alive and sounding sweet.

Big Congrats John!!

Be Creful!!

Set meter to 500VDC.
Put the negative lead on the chassis.
Put the red lead on the point you want to measure per the layout.
Set B+ at the first 50uf cap to 400V
Read off the DC voltages.
Post !!

Hi Stephen,
"Set B+" means adjust the VRM?
When I measure the first 50uf cap, with VRM at max I get 392V.
At the second cap I get 440V with VRM at idle, and 395V at max VRM.
What do you recommend? Max VRM, or second cap at 400V?
Thanks
John
