Still working on the little thing. We developed a noise we are still tracking down before we visit the studio.

Yeah, going to be putting the 'scope on this little amp. Something seems to have happened to it during it's recent journeys. Prototypes tend to have a pretty hard life.

Jac, we'll do you a kit with nothing but carbon comp resistors in it, for that authentic vintage hiss. :D If you like, I'll even dig some nice old extra noisy ones from my vintage components stash just for you. :D :D

FYI, it turned out to have been a bad ground connection in the preamp.
