Ok I think I may have ruined 2 power tubes, both in the same socket. I have removed them so I don't ruin another one. I wondering about the output transformers, the brown and blue wire. I only see a brown n the layout. I have connected the brown to pin 3 of v6 and the blue to pin 3 of v5. Is this correct before I go any further? Is it possible that i could have had 2 bad tubes? They are old and i purchased several of them from an old tv repairman many years ago...

Alright, I figured that out. It was a missing jumper between 620k and 180k resistors. Now on to the new problem....

Ohhh... wait a minute... some familiar problem with the inversion of those... fcervone please be aware of my post and weird voltage at http://trinityamps.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4896

Inverting power created weird stuff because I too missed some jumper... especially the one in V4.

It started with hum, than it became a F?$#?& loud oscilloscope... so don't mess around switching stuff if it's not in the diagram.

good luck with trouble shooting.

It was in the bias circuit. I was getting a positive voltage on pin 5 instead of a negative voltage.
