Hi all,
Question regarding triwatt sine wave signature and tone-stack characteristics.
Clear sine wave with 1k Hz looks slightly skewed, with half midrange and all other tone knobs zeroed.
Signal decreases as treble is increased.
I did not expect either of these. It's slight. Does this look odd to others too?
KT66
Output setting at 4ohm.
Input signal ~143mVAC
I have the bias adjusted at 35ma.

Here is a picture of the sine wave:

the skew is very small and i would not be concerned. as for the treble, the treble center frequency is higher than 1K so try the same test at 5k. presumably, the control is behaving as expcted when you play guitar.

I was able to achieve a symmetrical sine wave. See attached photo.
Also, as suggested, the treble control behaves as expected with a 5KHz signal.
Amp sounds strong. To my ears, significantly different compared against Fender/Marshall/Vox amps. I'm happy.
Now that it's finished, I will post a few final pictures this weekend.
