Hi all,

Thought I'd introduce myself since I'm starting my first amp build and figured I'll probably need this forum to get through it without major issues. After looking for over a year for the right amp kit, I finally settled on a Triwatt. I've rewired a bunch of guitars in my time but this will probably be the most extensive electronics work I've done yet. Looking to take it slow and get everything right.

Looking at some of the build pics from other members, I had a question on the off/standby/on switch. According to what I can piece together with the build manual, it seems that the switch needs to be oriented so that the bottom lugs are closest to the bottom of the chassis (oriented toward the top of the picture below). Is this correct? It seemed like some oriented the switch in the opposite direction, and I just wanted to clarify which was correct.

Thanks for the help!

A few more pictures of the progress I've made over the past week. Not many intervening pictures, but everything is pretty much connected now. One pot was damaged in shipping, but Stephen was very responsive and a new one will be coming soon.

The manual and layout were great resources, along with all of the build threads on these forums. Also had a few questions and Stephen was very quick in responding to my concerns. Thanks very much! Going over everything a couple more times to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. And if anyone sees anything horrible that I did wrong please let me know!

Looks like you are keeping it neat. Keep it up and be patient. The coax could go under the board but above should be fine too. I am going to post another picture in the TRIWATT forum you can refer to as well. Check it out.
