Ha! I didn't actually think of that, although I did build the cabinet for my S "III" so there must be some sort of unconscious thing going on....

Well, I like the Three Vertical Pin Stripe motif.

So far Fantastic! I am fiddling with tubes right now after getting through all the cold solder joints and missed jumpers. I have some new Electro Harmonix 6V6's in for now , but I hope to get my nos RCAs in after I shake it down a little. The Overdrive has MEGA gain with a huge volume boost when the master vol is down. I haven't been able to crank it up yet(you know - neighbours/ wife etc.)but it seems to have a lot more headroom than my sIII so far. All the voltages are on spec,if not a little higher than expected. There is a lot of tonal shift available from this setup. It sounds super meaty with my tele quarter pounder, which was a guitar I stopped using cos it was too muddy with some of my other amps. I am using a 12AT7 for the PI and a 5751 for the overdrive section . I am stoked!!!!!!Can't wait to gig with it!

Great to hear it's working for you. A 5751 for the overdrive section?? No squeal I guess. Try the 12AX7 if you have one but stick with the AT7 in the PI for now.

Looking fior some more feedback.

Hum, Squeal, Tone Control, Clean, Dirty, Loud? etc. etc.

No squealies to speak of yet, even with a 12AX7 in the overdrive spot. I used shielded cable to the overdrive switch as per your other thread about squealing issues.I just made sure the cable runs were as short as possible.
