Hi,

I’m trying to find 64uF, 100uF, and 150uF capacitors. Are these values misprints, the only capacitors I can find on mouser for these values are huge and won’t fit in the chassis. Maybe all of the values should be nF instead of uF?

Thanks,
Kev

I assume you're talking about the cathode capacitors for the preamp tubes. The values are correct, make sure you're looking at aluminum electrolytic capacitors. (Film-type in the >10uF range get physically huge and silly expensive really quickly.) For example, see Mouser part number 75-500D157M050DD2A. I think axial-type capacitors are going out of fashion, there are lots more options with radial leads, for example, Mouser part 667-EEU-FS1H151LB. If you go outside of Mouser, for example, Antique Electronic Supply, you can probably find more axial options.

I asked a similar question, see this post, and Mitch's helpful reply.
