I'm installing a VRM in my build and have a question about relocating the 1M resistors from the input jacks down to the V1 tube grid. In the VRM installation guide it shows one lead from each resistor being sent off to ground:

I'm curious about the best technique for grounding these resistors. I figure I could run both them out to the nearest star grounding terminal (the lug up by the input jacks), but I'm not sure if my goal should be to keep the runs as short as possible. If so I figure I could either add additional grounding terminals just like in the diagram, or maybe just tie them off to the nearest eyelet board screw so I don't need to drill additional holes in the chassis.

Do it the tried and true method. Run nuts and terminal lugs onto each of the mounting screws for V1.
