I am interested in wiring up my 5E3 kit with this Brownface Deluxe mod as described on p. 60 of the Tweed manual, V 2.94.
I see the schem. but would also like to see a layout diagram if someone has one. Thanks!

Thanks Stephen. I should have found that. I guess maybe I was asking for a little more "hand holding" as I'm really not a technician. So looking at the 5E3 layout I would place the two 220k resistors directly before the .1 uF caps that are linked to the #2 tabs of the two volume controls?

No, the 220K resistors are too mix channels. You could add them but you don't need to. The rest is pretty straightforward.

I was just going on the expected benefit of trying it as stated in the manual. Now I'm thinking I'll just go straight 5E3 Tweed route and see how it turns out. Thanks.
