Is it normal for this to happen? When the amp is on and I tap any of the input jacks hot wires it's makes a microphonic sound. I have nothing plugged into to these jacks. I think there's a problem. I have also replaced the 12ay7 tube, didn't make any difference. Any ideas? Thanks

Any vibration can be picked up by a tube. Having aid that, I've also never tapped an input wire. But I have tapped a tube and a board, and sometimes hear the tapping through the tube.
