Well, they say there are no stupid questions but I feel like this is one. In any event, I am finishing up my Tweed build and I want to understand what everyone means when they say that the standby switch is 'on' when measuring voltages - when the standby switch is 'on' is that when you would have sound if you were playing a guitar or is it the opposite? I am thinking that it is 'on' when you have sound when you play and 'off' when you don't have sound but wanted clarification.

Thanks!

"On" means you hear sound.

Yes, it is confusing - opposite of what it should be to my logically-trained mind.
