Hey guys,

Sent an email earlier today to Stephen as well, but thought I'd try here too.

On the layout, for the input jacks, it shows the 1 mega-ohm resistors connected between the "hot" lug and the "switch" lug. Now, I know those resistors get moved down to be soldered to pins 2 and 7 on V1, and to ground. But... again, looking at the layout, at the input jacks, there is a short going between the "switch" lug and the "ground" lug for the Hi input jacks. Does that short stay, or does it get removed?

Thanks in advance for any help you all can provide!
Tom

The "shorts" you mentioned stay. The hot terminals must be grounded if nothing is plugged into the jacks.

Thanks mitch. Yes, Stephen also replied to my email with the same info.

Finished up my Tweed 5E3 tonight, and it sounds great! Couldn't crank it up yet (kids/wife in bed), but that shall come tomorrow. Or later today, as it's after midnight here. :)
