Just picked up my very own Trinity Tweed Deluxe w/ the Tone Tubby AlNiCo on the weekend.
I know I am preaching to the choir when I say that this amp is truly
amazing, but for those of you who are wondering.
From clean jazzy tones to raunchy rock and roll OD, this amp has it all.
I cannot find a bad setting on this amp. Even with humbuckers
the bass does not get woolly.
Big thanks to Stephen for his fine workmanship and knowledge, and also to Lawrence for sharing some mighty fine tones.

yeah. Heard that amp at the "JanJam". I look at the simplicity of this thing and think, not enough buttons, but with lbet at the frets, DAMN. That rig sounds sweet!!! Hope you enjoy, Dan...

Autopilotslim! Glad your liking the amp. They are pretty special even before the tone tubby is added. I don't think the clips do it justice....your tele and the les paul both sounded wickedly good.

Cheers
Lawrence

So tonight we're all off to see Autopilotslim in a local club playing with Shrimp Daddy and the Sharpshooters! The Tweed will be on-stage tonight! Blues Night Out!

Check them out at:

And a good time was had by all !!

The Tweed really hung in there. This was a good sized club with lots of sound absorbing materials. The Tweed was not miked and Autopilotslim had to stand in front of it. You can see it behind him. It took pedals well when required. Dan's tone got a lot of compliments and later on he played a Gold Top LP with P90s which sounded great.

Thanks Stephen!
Yes the Deluxe came through its maiden outing with flying colours. The Deluxe is the perfect amp for small to medium gigs. I had no problems being heard, and as Stephen said it wasn't even miked.

I was plugged into Bright channel 1 with the volume at 8 and the tone at 7-9 and a Fender reverb tank. The tone was very open and multi-dimensional. Also at 25lbs. it was a real treat carrying it around.

A big thank-you to all that came out.

Cheers,
Dan
