Sorry, having trouble posting pictures. Any ideas from the above photos that might caused the slight hum?. Still sounds great.

I just built a Trinity Tweed and I can offer some suggestions. I had a higher noise floor in my build than I was happy with too. I was careful as I laid all the wires out and it sure looked great. But after reading about proper “lead dress”, I came to the realization that I left all my hookup wires too long. I had to desolder at the preamp tubes and shorten them up because they were acting like antennas and introducing noise. When I look at your pics I notice you left a lot of length on your signal wires in the preamp section. Those yellow wires from the jacks to the 68K resistors need to be short and neat. Same with the yellow wires down to pins 2 and 7 on your V1 socket. If you trim them back I bet you will cut back a lot of noise in your build. Anyway, I am no expert but just had to fix the same issue as you and it worked.

This article helped my build immensely because I was struggling to understand what wires should be separated, what should be short and direct, what should run along the chassis and where noise will be a problem. I trimmed up some lengths and “chopsticked” my amp and am pretty happy now. Anyway here is the link if you are interested...
