Those really rock! Thanks! Would love to peel off the soundtrack of them and preserve them.

Coco,
What type of soundcard and software do you have for recording? I use Firefox for a browser with the download helper add on. This allows me to download YouTube videos. I also have Wimpy FLV player to play those files. I use Sonar to record the audio. I have an M-audio Delta 1010. I'm able to select the master buss as a source in Sonar.
I start video and quickly pause it. I then open another window with Sonar in it. I select the master Buss as a source. I start recording then go to the Wimpy window and hit play. Sonar records the audio. I can then save it as a wav file.
It works well for me. You might try it. If you use Explorer, you can still save youtube vids by going to a second instance of Explorer and going to www.savetube.com. You can paste the url of the chosen video into the box and save it. You will need to manually add the dot flv at the end during the save as. I always highlight the title of the youtube and copy/paste it into the save as window and add .flv .
Hope this helps without confusing you.

To answer Q#1, I use a Lexicon Lambda and Cubase to record.
Yes, confused is one word. :? I'll just have to try your suggestion.
