Peter & Rick from Barrie ON dropped in today to pick up a Tone Tubby Alnico and audition a few amps (4 in fact). TC-15, 18 watt Plexi (from lbet), v6 & Deluxe

I recorded the event and am posting it here for fun.

It's long so you might be best to right click on the link and download [Save Target As...] it then play it.

Enjoy!

As mentioned in my pm to John. The beginning of this clip is Pete playing and me fiddling with the 'plexi' up to the "all right now'" riff. After that it was me on my ES-335 (blues) noodling mostly on the sIII I believe. Then I borrowed the squire for some single coil stuff back on the'plexi". We were constantly tweaking knobs sot he sound is changing throughout. These amps have a variety of sounds and it doesn't take long to find them. I am leaning towards the 'plexi' so far. I wish I had brought my hardtail strat down though.

25 Meg 'eh? This is going to take a moment..........

Nice tones. Very vintage sounding. I was hearing some Small Faces type tone in there.

Cool.
