I recently installed the VRM module in my TC15, as per the instructions, full power supply regulation.
I am very happy with the results; makes the amp much more versatile for home use.
I do have one observation, and want to check if this is normal.

I have noticed that the 12AX7 channel responds more dramatically to the power reduction than the EF86 channel, in terms of drop in volume and faster onset of distortion.
I assume this is because the EF86 channel only has a single preamp gain stage being down-regulated compared to the four 12AX7 stages being down-regulated.
Has anyone else observed this?

I reduce the power to the 12AX7 channel, the volume drops and distortion starts sooner than it does on the EF86 channel.
