Hi, I hope you can give me some advice on how to fix this.
My TC15 build is squealing when I have the Channel 2 Volume turned above 3/4 while the Master Volume is turned up and the boost switch is engaged.
The squeal will go away when the boost is turned off while the Channel 2 Volume knob is above 3/4 and the Master Volume is turned up.
I did switch the pin-7 Output Transformer leads as suggested in the TC-15 Build manual. This didn't fix it. I did put new EL84's in as well.
I will try installing new preamp tubes on V2 and V3
Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Well, I Think I found the problem. I found a sketchy solder joint on the ground side of the HI input of Channel 2. Once, I cleaned up the joint and re-soldered the amp squeal stopped at max volume. The whole amp started working better. Always learning from my mistakes. Thanks
