Hi, I'm a huge fan of the Trinity S-III and have built about six of those tone machines. I'm very curious about the TC-15. But, the players that buy my builds are typically wanting headroom in the amp to allow for effective use of their pedal board. This is a big reason why many buy my build of the S-III. Its got beautiful tone and just about the right amount of head room.

So, is the TC-15 able to be tuned up to give it more head room. The video demo really showed a lot of breakup at anything above 6.

What are your thoughts?

The amp is very loud at 6. In VOX mode, you will have no trouble with headroom. If you find that you need more, you are likely in a situation where the amp really should be mic'ed anyways - that last bit is my opinion I know all don't agree with that philosophy and some people want 100 watts so they can have large-venue headroom without a mic.

Thanks much DTP,
Most of the people playing my amp are professionals that are playing small venues un-micked or mic it up for larger venues.
Most players won't buy my 50 watt amp. They are much happier with the 18 watt.
Thanks much for your input

Have you tried sticking an au7 in the socket instead of an ax7?

Or disconnect one of the parallel triodes on that channel, 30% less gain
