Hey guys, long time lurker, first post.

Just recently finished a lightning clone, changed up a couple things, but this thing sounds awesome. It was my first build and I couldn't be more happy with it. Until last night

I was diagnosing a hum that seamed to be isolated to the input jack. It was the quietest tube amp ive ever owned, until a cable was plugged in. Anyway, did some chopsticking and found a poor solder joint at the bridge between pin2-pin7 at the first 12ax7. The pin 7 connection was bad. Poked at it, and the hum went away. AWESOME! Soldered that bad boy up, re installed tubes, and turned that puppy back on.

NOTHING
That is the only thing I touched on the under side of this thing and now I have no input what so ever.

Any thoughts? Im supposed to gig this thing tomorrow night :( HELP

Recheck all your wiring from the tube back to the input jack. Check for open connections and shorts to ground.

Also check the tube socket. There's also a chance the 12AX7 is bad, but that's not too likely.

Agree with mitch on the input. also, if you touch the grids ov v1 with a small screwdriver, you shouldgrt a pop.
