Done!
The best sounding amp I have ever had!
I got the tube down version for possible combo, but have not made up my mind yet.
I'll do the cab first.
Great instructions!
Amp fired up the first(oops the 2nd) time
It is a monster !

I still have to complete the half power switch, but do not have resistors on hand.
Steven has been very prompt and helpful with any questions.

The only issue is the pull master volume pot, which is has loose shaft and not working..
Could I have fried it by soldering?

I'll post some pictures when the cab is done.

I don't think so. Any iDea what I was like before installation? It's rare to have a bad pot.

Ok, everything fixed with Coco's help.
The amp really shines with MV bypassed.
Wonderful compression.
Right now I am playing through my BlueBell
In Bad Cat Cougar combo.
It also sounds very nice through greenback, althoough
A little darker.
I was planning to install the pentode/triode switch,
But the bypassed pentode sound is so good,
That maybe Dr Z brake lite would be better.
Still not sure about head vs combo.

Just very happy and looking forward for Lightning
Lite - that would replace the 5 w bad cat chassis
And TC would get in a dedicated combo.

Glad it all worked out and you like it. We'll get you the new MV and sort out the half power option you wanted.

Here is a basic half power switch. You basically switch in/out the 100R resistors included in the kit, with a DPDT 5A switch. In the pic below, the 1K resistors are 100R in the TC15.
