I'm planning on a home-made version of the TC-15, mainly using old parts I got lying around. (most from old radios)
However, I'm having a bit of trouble with the power transformer. None of the ones I got are close in voltages, and since I live in europe and want to reduce shipping cost (also toll/tax), I think my best option is to buy a hammond equivalent from tube-town.de
But it seems I can't find one that has 290-0-290 on the HT - they are either 300 or 275.
Hammond does make a vintage AC30 clone that has 290, but it's too expensive.

Any suggestions?

Regards
Anders

Use the 300

Add Zener diodes on the CT to reduce the B+ or live with the little extra voltage you'll be getting.

Used this guy for my jtm 45 chassis and was shipped pretty cheap to Canada. so shipping to where ever you are in Europe should be pretty cheap
