Greetings this is my first post. I have been a member of the forum for awhile. Just started a TC 15 kit but need some advice on what EF86 to purchase. Looking for recommendations from TC 15 users. I know there are NOS suggestions but is anybody using current production tubes. Thanks in advance the helpful input :thumbsup:

NOS or used old stock seems to be the way to go for the EF86s. The modern ones just don't seem to compare to the older ones and can't take the abuse.

Though the old tubes are more expensive it will probably be cheaper in the long run then having to replace and deal with the modern production tubes.

Thanks I got a couple Amperex Bugle Boy off Ebay this morning. Great price so I hope it works out.
