My lightning Amp is finished! The cabinet will soon follow, I could not waite to try it out and I am very impressed with this amp. First of all it is dead quiet, with only the slighest hiss when turned all the way up and NO humm at all! clarity and seperation of the notes even when distorted is bueatiful. I hope the pics can be seen here if not I will repost with a link to the server they are on. Well what can I say , I wanted to do something diffrent and special for this amp. I started with the home built chassis and machine spun the bottom and had a friend do the lettering. ( my
penmanship is terrible)I custom painted the West Labs Iron complete with lightning bolts, bell ends on the choke, all counter sunk screws and aluminum knobs. On the inside you see the Bueatiful board supplied by Stephen at Trinity amps, I installed the wires under board to keep it neat. The tube socketts are layed out the way they are to make room for the cabinet handle which retracts and is recessed. a couple weekends and the cabinet should be done. as you can see, the baffels and face plate are 1/4" aluminum plate and the the holes in the sides of the cab are backed up with aluminum plates. the cab is going to be painted transparent candy apple red and to top it off im working on a matching guitar.

Looks absolutely killer, Joe. Seems a shame to be covering it with a cabinet though.

Great looking amp, looks like you have been neglecting the lawn though ;-)
